After two weeks of significant pain and appointments of all types, I felt that I needed another modality to supplement my care. I’ve come to the chiropractor 3xs this week in addition to PT and I’m slowly getting to a more functional person!! After today, I’m returning to work next week but will continue to return for weekly appts at Willow Bend Chiropractor. The last 3 weeks have been traumatizing from going to a working person to someone that can barely walk. Walking into the this practice made feel like I mattered. Every staff member is integral in your progress. I get an adjustment, go to the traction table, and then estim. I walk out feeling more energized to walk and complete my PT exercises. Dr. Heptig and his team are simply the best! I've been a patient for over 8years now and continue being a loyal patient of his. The front office team is always amazing, love the flexibility that they always have. When you have an emergency you bet they will take time to work you into the schedule. Dr. Heptig is amazing he always makes sure that he addresses any concerns and always very professional. Every one at the office make you feel like family. I have scoliosis and have had several orthopedic surgeries and have had my share of bad chiropractic care but since I found Dr. Heptig and his team I won't go anywhere else. I love coming here! Dr. Heptig is amazing!! He is friendly and def is able to pin point and adjust the body to where it needs to be. He has great bed side manor and answers any questions I have about why something happened. The front office staff is wonderful too! No pressure to make appointments and scheduling is pretty easy. If your regular doctor is not available they usually have another doctor available that can help. Occasionally my S.I. joints or hips will shift due to sports and I can usually get an appointment the day of. Definitely love the flexibility provided here. I don't go to chiropractors but when I woke up and couldn't hardly move due to lower back pain, I bit the proverbial bullet. Dr. Heptig was recommended to me by my Fiancée. Her and her best friend and her husband go to him and say he's great. 1st impressions; staff was very helpful and made me feel relaxed. Got some x-rays done and Dr. Heptig explained what it all reveled. Got adjusted and was in and out in about 30 min. I felt immediate relief and a treatment plan. I'll be seeing him in a week. I've been dealing with lower back pain on/off the past year. I went to The Joint and was not impressed with their service, selling me a membership I did not need, and multiple visits to feel relief. After one 30 min visit, Dr. Son had my pain nearly gone. Such a relief! He's very thorough, listens well, and focuses on your pain spots. He never tried to sell me an expensive treatment plan like other chiropractors have. After a brief discussion of my pain spots, he did an X-ray, reviewed my issues right after, did my adjustment, then I spent about 5-10 with the tens unit and hearing pad. Great experience and I look forward to continuing my visits with him as needed. Very nice, quiet office. The front desk staff are friendly. Minimal wait time. I have a high deductible BCBS plan and he's been more affordable than other chiropractors I've visited in past years. ~ Stacey W

Dr. Heptig and everyone at Willow Bend Chiropractic are THE best. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Heptig for about 13 years. I have chronic neck pain resulting from a car accident 25 years ago. While his adjustments have been great and I certainly could no go without them, my neck issues have still existed. I have done massages, physical therapy, and Botox for years until he had me use his MLS laser treatment. My neck feels FABULOUS! It is amazing to not been in constant pain! Willow Bend Chiropractic is a great place to be for chiropractic care. Dr. Heptig, Dr. Son, and the staff have been very accommodating. I used to have back, shoulder, and neck pain due to my line of work, and I have felt a lot of relief after going to Willow Bend Chiropractic. The staff are very pleasant, and the doctors are both professional. You can really tell that they both have experience in tackling the adjustments, even with a patient like me (I used to have anxiety when getting adjustments). I have been going to Dr. James Heptig for years. All of his chiropractors are excellent. I sent one of my medical massage clients there whose chiropractor was not benefiting him. He is much better now. Also, I went to him yesterday for migraine, shoulder that was not sitting in socket properly and for low back sciatic and other low back issues. All so much better now. I refer all of my medical massage clients to him. Everyone receives electro stim and hot packs..No cell phone. Large relaxing fish tank to watch. Also, 2 huge decompression machines. He has a very personable bedside manner, always asks me how I am doing--if anything has changed from one visit to the next--is very gentle, and takes the time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. The front office staff is consistently friendly and attentive--and always smiling! They greet me by my name when I walk in, and always handle my appointment changes with ease. Dr. Heptig and his staff take excellent care of me everytime I go. In my 40 plus years of gojng to a chiropractor, Dr.Heptig is one of the absolute best. Not only is the level of care excellent, but the other sevices offered like spinal decompression, and MLS(cold) laser therapy just to name a couple that I have used makes Willow Bend Chiropractic a must for health and recovery. It is not very often that you will have two doctors in the same office that are the best at what they do. I've been seeing Dr. Kurtz for two months now (roughly -7 sessions), he has been treating me for migraines, overall, neck/upper back/shoulder pain/tension likely caused from long hours of computer work as well as lower back issues. He's been addressing each issue and helping to elevate symptoms. Dr. Kurtz is so thoughtful and professional. He follows up and only recommends the necessary treatments to get you moving again and maintaining optimal health. The after-care therapy (hot/cold muscle-stim) is what puts this practice above all others in my opinion. The whole team working there is wonderful. I highly recommend! ~ Rhonda K

This was my first time seeing a chiropractor. Dr. Heptig was recommended by a friend to help me with my back pain. I cannot imagine a better first experience. From my check in, to working with the staff, the amazing Dr. Heptig, and then the ease of check out, it was excellent. I wish all doctors offices were this efficient and well run. My daughter and I were rear ended and in a lot of pain. We didn’t know where to start. We went with Willow Bend because it was close to my office and this is going to be a long process. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how we were treated. He explained everything throughly and even made sure my daughter understood. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have always been leary of Chiropractic work because of the horror stories you hear but my son hurt his back and we knew we had to go. I searched worried I'd find the right one and I came across Willow Bend Chiropactic and I could not be more thankful. I was able to get him in in less than 24 hours. Every one of the staff including the doctor were so nice and welcoming. From the first phone call to the moment we left the appointment I knew we were in the right place. I have had low back pain for 20 years. Being a doctor I am familiar with all the traditional “researched” approach to treating low pain recommended by western medicine. I also had little to no exposure to chiropractic medicine when I was at UTSW or residency. I’m glad I finally gave Willow Bend Chiropractic a try. I am doing decompression therapy and it's changed everything for me. When I first came here 6 weeks ago, I was in level 10 pain daily in my back and down my legs - debilitating pain for the last 5 years! I walked my first mile in 5 years last week! I am 98% pain free and that horrible pain down my legs has been gone since my 3rd session. I thought I was going to be in a wheelchair in 5 years. I Was in so much pain from a pinched nerve I Could not sleep or sit down it was horrible . Dr Heptig Explain to me what I had to do and what he was going to do and how he would treat the problem I Though that I would never get better but I stuck to the program And came in when I was supposed I followed his instructions. Dr. Heptig and his staff consistently deliver First in Class service. My significant other and I have been treating with Dr. Heptig since January. Dr. Heptig took my significant other from being able to barely walk to now being back in the gym and working out. I’ve had back problems since I was a teenager and my back can be very tricky. My chiropractor of 20yrs retired and I was very nervous to try someone new. Several people suggested Dr. Heptig, so I gave it a try. He’s amazing! I won’t let ANYONE adjust my lower back accept him….EVER! I go as needed and am never pressured to do the 3x a week that many chiropractors “suggest”. I’d been to one of these people which landed me in the hospital and in need of spinal injections. Got into a am accident when I rolled three times in vehicle broke my femur and screwed up my neck and back and shoulder... Have been doing pt with my doctor with no good results other than they wanted to do steroid injections and I refused... Got with Willow bend chiropractic and I'm doing laser therapy, spinal decompression, heat and massage therapy, and neck and back adjustment and I'm better within 5 days... First time visiting this office. I arrived early and was greeted promptly. A staff member quickly pointed out where the restrooms and Brio water dispenser were located. After checking in, I was directed to the exam room, and within minutes Dr. Son introduced himself. After the diagnostic evaluation, he clearly explained my treatment. I felt noticeably better after the adjustment and was impressed with how quickly I experienced results. I have already scheduled a follow-up session and plan to continue treatment. ~ Tony M
